Kuluntu Bakery specializes in small-batch sourdough breads and South African–inspired pastries. Founded in 2018 by Stephanie Leichtle‑Chalklen, it operates as a nonprofit focused on community, equity, and empowerment through baking.

Halperin Park is more than a park — it’s a park with a purpose. Set to open in Spring 2026, this five-acre bridge park will span I-35E between Ewing and Marsalis Avenues, reconnecting historic Oak Cliff and serving as a central gathering place where everyone is welcome. With its promise of hope and opportunity, Halperin Park will spark environmental, economic and community revitalization. East Dock will serve as the park’s corporate office, supporting the vision and operations behind this transformative community destination.

Barro East Dock, led by restaurateur Robert Ramirez, is a Latin-American restaurant and market located within the revitalized East Dock complex in Dallas' Oak Cliff. It features a rustic, family‑style dining concept with a rotating, regionally inspired Latin menu and an adjacent market offering fruits, vegetables, imported ceramics, bakeware, and textiles.
